COVID-19 პანდემიის გავლენა საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტებში ჩარიცხული საერთაშორისო სტუდენტების კოგნიტურ ფუნქციებზე

COVID19ის პანდემიის გავლენა სტუდენტთა ცხოვრების წესზე, ფსიქიკურ და ფიზიკურ ჯანმრთელობაზე კარგად არის შესწავლილი, მაგრამ ცოტა რამ არის ცნობილი თუ რა გავლენა იქონია პანდემიამ საერთაშორისო სტუდენტების კოგნიტიურ ფუნქციებზე. წარმოდგენილი კვლევის ფარგლებში შესწავლილ იქნა კოგნიტური ფუნქციები საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტებში ჩარიცხული საერთაშორისო სტუდენტების ორ ჯგუფში – სტუდენტები, რომლებიც პანდემიის დროს იყვნენ საქართველოში და სტუდენტები, რომლებიც პანდემიის დროს იყვნენ წარმოშობის ქვეყანაში (ძი რითადად ინდოეთში).
კვლევა ჩატარდა და მონაცემები შეგროვდა 2021 წლის აგვისტოდან 2022 წლის აპრილის პერიოდში. მონაწილეთა სტრესის დონე შეფასდა აღქმული სტრესის შკალის (PSS) საშუალებით, ხოლო კოგნიტიური ფუნქციები შეფასდა რიცხვების ჩამოთვლის ტესტის, მხედველობითი ძიების ტესტის და ვისკონსინის ბარათების სორტირების ტესტის (WCST) გამოყენებით. მიღებულმა შედეგებმა აჩვენა, რომ აღქმული სტრესის დონე ორივე ჯგუფის სტუდენტებისათვის იყო საშუალო და არ განსხვავდებოდა სტატისტიკურად ერთმანეთისგან. კოგნიტიური ტესტების შედეგებმა აჩვენა, რომ ხანმოკლე და მუშა მეხსიერებების დონე ერთნაირი იყო ორივე ჯგუფის მონაწილეებისათვის, ხოლო ყურადღების და ძირითადი აღმასრულებელი ფუნქციები დაქვეითებულია მეორე ჯგუფის სტუდენტებში. ეს შედეგები მიუთითებს, რომ პანდემიამ ერთნაირი გავლენა მოახდინა საერთაშორისო სტუდენტების ორივე ჯგუფზე სტრესის თვალსაზრისით, მაგრამ გაუარესდა ზოგადი კოგნიტიური ფუნქციები იმ სტუდენტებში, რომლებიც პანდემიის დროს იყვნენ თავიანთ ოჯახებთან ერთად.
